i mean, Turn ∀ Gundam already showed that universal century as well as future colony, after colony & after war series all got rebooted due to moonlight butterfly resetting humanities technology back to the dark ages so technically its already been rebooted like 4 or more times....

At this point just remaster the original series.

To summarize this movie: when rock paper scissors gets updated to Laser Rifle, Beam Sword, and Bazooka and you still choose rock.

This is exactly the sort of reboot I've been hoping for since I first watched MSG, really captured the feeling of the original. I hope the rest of the series gets this treatment as well, even if they reuse this movie in a full series reboot.

Holy cow, the use of CG animation in this is so well done and effectively integrated. This looks great.

The ground type high mobility Zaku (sandbar color) looks pretty cool, cant wait for the p-bandai release of it.

Are they basically just Zaku2 in that color? I agree, they are cool af ... If they are just normal Zaku 2, can we just buy a normal one and spray paint to that color?

I think you can but there are a few part needed to be modified to looks like the design. I prefer buying p-bandai as i have a squad of zaku 2 with different of variants.

To think that the original episode (#15 from the 1979 series) was so plagued with errors and poor quality that Tomino decided to forbid airing it abroad - after 40+ years he came out with it - talk about perfectionism and willingness to fix your own mistakes!

Bruh the first movie dropped last year, its going to take them a while to make the second one. It'll probably drop sometime next year or in 2024

Amuro just threw doan’s zaku into the sea.. but he forgot that in the secret hideout there’s one fully functioning high mobility zaku from that one pilot that he stepped on by his gundam

There are some. The Origin, Unicorn, Twilight Axis, Narrative, Hathaway and Thunderbolt which all take place on the same timeline. Iron Blooded Orphans is also really good.

I agree with Origin, Thunderbolt, & Hathaway wholeheartedly when it comes to art style & aesthetic. But I think Unicorn & Narrative's art style is starting to show a bit of it''s age. Plus you actually need to watch all of the other UC series to understand all of Unicorn. There are a lot of callbacks & references to CCA & ZZ you won't understand otherwise
